Whitcoulls’ has recently completed two new stores at Auckland and Christchurch International Airports.
Working closely with Spaceworks, Targetti was able to use a combination of CCT HI downlights and KR1 recessed projectors to fit in with the complex ceiling design, incorporating varying levels, facets and materials. With the lighting layout set by the ceiling design, the number of light fittings that could be installed was limited. With highly efficient optics, and the ability to aim the lights, Targetti was ability to provide a solution that delivered high retail light levels from minimal fittings while at the same time limiting glare. Aiming of the luminaires also ensured retail product could be well lit in a controlled way, focusing customers attention.
